GM-1 - Gauss Meter
The GM-1 - Gauss Meter and probe are used to measure magnetic flux density at a given point. There are two types of probe that can be used with this meter, axial and transverse. The flux density can be displayed in both Gauss and Tesla.
Axial Probe
An axial probe is generally used to measure surface flux density or the flux density in the bore of a ring.
Transverse Probe
A transverse probe is normally used to measure magnetic field strength in an air gap.
