Touchstone 2
The Touchstone 2 coating thickness gauge uses the magnetic properties of the substrate material to determine the coating thickness i.e. the distance the sensor face is held off the steel by the coating. The TOUCHSTONE 2 hall effect sensor will measure a wide range of non-magnetic coatings on ferrous substrates including; paint, plastic stainless steel, galvanised zinc, aluminium and tin.
Touchstone 2 features:
- Highly accurate hall effect sensor
- Measures any non-ferrous coating
- Measures up to 8mm of coatings
- Simple calibration and operation
The Touchstone 2 can be used in:
- Civil engineering
- Petro-chemical
- Offshore
- Automotive
